(Hina) - Italian President Giorgio
Napolitano in his message on the occasion of Croatia's entry to the
European Union and carried by the Trieste Il Piccolo newspaper,
recalled the deep joint roots that the Italian and Croatian peoples
shared but also the obligation to recall the tragedies and divisions
between the two peoples which were caused by totalitarian ideologies.
