ZAGREB, June 30
(Hina) - The Croatian gas transmission system
operator Plinacro has welcomed the decision of the consortium
developing Azerbaijan's Shah Deniz gas field to select the Trans
Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) to ship Azeri gas to European destinations,
saying it was a strategic step forward for Croatia and its neighbours
which would give a new impetus to the Ionian-Adriatic gas pipeline
project.
