ZAGREB, June 26
(Hina) - Although Croatia will not automatically be
part of the Schengen Area when it enters the European Union on July 1,
it will be easier for Croatian citizens to cross borders between EU
member states and they will be able to travel with their ID cards
while speedier crossings at the Schengen border to Slovenia and
Hungary should be facilitated by joint border controls.
