The German Foreign Ministry has recommended to the Bundestag to send a positive signal and approve a positive decision on the start of negotiations on Serbia's Union membership, Dacic said in parliament.
Grubjesic confirmed this to the press after talks with Montenegrin Deputy PM Igor Luksic.
She said this was "good news" but that "the story of Serbia's progress towards the EU is not over." She announced she would officially visit Germany on June 10-12 to discuss the continuation of Serbia's European integration with German MPs.
The Bundestag will discuss giving Serbia a date for the accession talks on June 27, while the European Council will make a decision on June 28.
One of the basic requirements for further progress in European integration was a plan how to implement an agreement on the normalisation of relations with Kosovo reached in Brussels on April 19.
Brussels and the officials of the leading EU countries, notably Germany, insist that concrete results of the implementation should be visible before Serbia is given a date to commence the entry talks.
After talks with senior EU officials in Brussels on May 29, Dacic said he was "very encouraged by the EU's support" and that he expected the opening of Serbia's accession negotiations to be greenlighted in June.
