Wilhelm said in a newspaper interview on Tuesday that now that Serbia
has adopted a plan to implement the Brussels-brokered agreement with
Pristina, it is absolutely closer to a date to start negotiations on
membership of the European Union (EU) and that no new conditions will
be set but that it is vital to make the first concrete steps to
implement the plan for Berlin to give its approval for Serbia to be
given a pre-accession date.
