"Those outstanding issues will be solved too sooner or later, this is certain now. The establishment of those mechanisms removed the political problems that were present and that burdened both sides," he said responding to questions from the press.
Croatia and Slovenia are natural allies, not just for historical reasons, the same cultural circles, compatible economies, culture and people, but also because of their position in the European Union.
"I am ceratin that our two countries will have meaningful joint work, both within the European Union and outside it, namely by appearing on third markets."
The president visited the northern Adriatic resort of Porec to open the Rident dental hospital, saying it was a good example of health and tourism developing "hand in hand."
"Croatia has a very good prospect to establish itself in health tourism because on the one hand, we have a beautiful country, and on the other, excellent experts," he said, adding that "these specialised types of tourism are a very interesting and promising direction for the development of Croatian tourism."
