The ministry called on Croatian entrepreneurs to prepare projects that can apply for financing from the European Regional Development Fund.
Well-prepared projects will be able to apply for grants totalling EUR 30 million upon Croatia's EU accession on July 1.
The two-day seminar brought together about 200 participants and heard that it is necessary to create a stimulating environment for small and medium enterprises. An enterprise development strategy for the 2013-20 period was also presented, aimed at improving the potential and culture of enterprise.
Achieving the strategy's goals will help create competitive and equally developed small and medium enterprises based on export growth, high-level innovation and a favourable business environment.
