ZAGREB, April 25
(Hina) - With the introduction of subsidies for
electricity produced from renewable resources, 139 power stations have
been set up in Croatia producing 173 megawatts (MW) of electricity for
which purchase contracts have been concluded with Croatia's energy
market operator. Next year it is expected that a further 421 projects
will be realised producing an additional 282 MW of power. These are
just some of the details reported by the Economy Ministry on Thursday
in a press release it issued on the occasion of World Renewable Energy
Day, observed on 26 April.
