ZAGREB, April 11 (Hina) - The government on Thursday called local polls for Sunday, May 19 for the election of representative bodies of local and regional self-government, municipal and town mayors, county prefects and their deputies.

Administration Minister Arsen Bauk said election commissions were now busy with Croatia's first election for the European Parliament to be held this Sunday and that they would focus on local elections after that.
