"The HDZ will strongly represent the interests of Croats in Bosnia and Herzegovina and I hope our position will be stronger once we are members of the European Parliament," he said when asked by the press to comment on the fact that virtually no one was mentioning Bosnian Croats in the campaign for Croatia's EP election on April 14, although the Croatian Constitution says that Croatia must provide for them.
"Croats in Bosnia and Herzegovina must indeed achieve equality. At this moment they are disenfranchised and we have some constitutional obligations regarding such problems," said the leader of the strongest opposition party.
