(Hina) - As of 1 July Croatia has to respect
European Union (EU) regulations which means that it cannot confuse
consumers by releasing a product with a name that may remind of
another product already protected on the European market such as the
Italian sparkling wine Prosecco but that does not necessarily mean
that it will not be able to continue producing Prosek, European
Commission (EC) Spokesman for Agriculture and Rural Development Roger
Waite told Hina on Thursday.
