SPLIT, Feb 27
(Hina) - The Croatian Armed Forces Chief-of-staff,
Lieutenant General Drago Lovric, said in the coastal city of Split on
Wednesday that between seven and eight billion kuna would be spent
over the next ten years on the modernisation of the armed forces
adding that personnel would be scaled down to around 15,000.
