This year the festival will introduce a new section of biographical documentaries, presenting life stories of fascinating and influential people who have left their mark over the past few decades, including Steve Jobs.
One of the highlights of the festival will be the most controversial film of the decade, "The Act of Killing" by Joshua Oppenheimer, portraying Indonesian death squads in the mid-1960s who committed genocide by killing over a million ethnic Chinese in one year.
The festival will consist of international and regional films competing for best film as well as traditional programmes including "Controversial Dox", "The Matter of Things", "Happy Dox", "Masters of Dox", "Musical Globe" and "Teen Dox", along with support programmes.
Another novelty this year is an educational section, "ZagrebDox Pro".
