Nikolic made the request on December 28, his office said in a press release.
He expects international regulations and UN Resolution 1244 to be ensured in the continuation of Belgrade-Pristina negotiations and security to be ensured for all citizens staying in Kosovo, regardless of ethnicity.
Restricting freedom of movement represents a grave breach of the fundamental human rights defined in the UN charter and is unacceptable in civilisation terms, the press release said.
