The Malaysian Palm Oil Registration and Licensing Authority (PORLA) issued data that put end-September production at 864,730 tonnes, up 6.04 percent from August. End-September stocks were 894,030 tonnes against 803,016 tonnes while exports during September were 637,079 tonnes against 687,870 tonnes the previous month. European traders called the report neutral to slightly bearish but said it was within market expectations. Crude palm oil cif Europe closed unchanged to $2.50 lower after Nov traded at $527.50 a tonne cif. Refined palm oil sellers closed around $2.50 up with no further business reported during the afternoon. Coconut oil attracted some dealer trade during the afternon with Sep/Oct trading at $735, Nov/Dec at $720 and Dec/Jan at $715 and $717.50 a tonne cif. Closing sellers were $2.50 to $5 up. Palmkernel oil finished $2.50 down after Nov traded at $694 and Nov/Dec and Dec/Jan traded in a switch at even money. Among soft oils Dutch oil closed 0.75 to 1.25 guilders higher after Nov/Jan traded at 89.50 guilders and Feb/Apr at 93 guilders a 100 kilos fob ex-mill. Dutch/EU rape oil finished 1.75 guilders higher after Nov fetched 94 guilders, Nov/Jan 95 and Feb/Apr 96 and 96.75 guilders a 100 kilos fob ex-mill.
