"Chicago has been falling for a few days so it was due for a bounce, but noone is getting excited about it in Europe," said a trader. Most sectors of the market closed lower with palm oil as much as $10 down ahead of Malaysian private forecaster Ivan Wong's latest report due for release on Tuesday. Crude palm oil closed $5 to $10 down on a tradeless market while refined palm oil was $2.50 to $5 lower. Soft oils finished with soy oil 0.75 to 0.50 guilders down with no business reported while rape oil was 0.50 guilders down after Feb/Apr fetched 98.50 guilders a 100 kilos fob ex-mill. Lauric oils closed mixed with coconut oil unchanged to $5 down and palmkernel oil $5 up to unchanged on neglected markets.
