Cargo surveyor Societe Generale de Surveillance (SGS) Malaysia estimated Malaysia's palm oil exports for June 1-25 at 510,578 tonnes against 547,382 tonnes for May 1-25. At the close palm oils were unchanged to $2.50 lower. The only business during the afternoon was for olein at $557.50 for July 1-7, with $527.50 paid for Aug/Sep crude palm oil. Soft oils found mild support from early gains on the Chicago soybean oils futures but still ended up to 0.50 lower. Light trade on soy oil was reported at 104.50/104.75 guilders on Aug/Oct and at 101.50 for Nov/Jan, while rape oil fetched 104.25, 103.25 and 103 guilders for Jul, Aug/Oct and Nov/Jan respectively.
