The back months ended 0.02 higher to 0.02 lower. Volume was estimated at 9,363 lots. Early trade buying in the March/May and in the May/July spreads lifted March to its high of 10.42, but liquidation pressured the contract to a low of 10.32, dealers said. Prices drifted slightly over unchanged throughout the session and then bounced near the highs at the end of the day. The market set its ten-point trading range early and did not attempt to push key resistance at 10.50 cents in March. The contract remained well above support at 10.23 cents.
