ZAGREB, May 6 (Hina) - March-past began on Wednesday at the Ministry
of defence building in Zagreb on Wednesday, paying homage to the
deceased Defence Minister Gojko Susak.
The first to pay respects to Susak on Wednesday were the Military
Ordinary, Msgr. Juraj Jezerinac, generals and other senior
officials of the Croatian Army and Defence Ministry.
The Guard of Honour, which changes every ten minutes, included
Deputy Defence Minister Lt. Gen. Kresimir Cosic, and the Croatian
Army Chief-of-Staff, Lt. Gen. Pavao Miljavac, with associates.
Croatian National Parliament deputy speakers, Vladimir Seks and
Jadranka Kosor, presidential advisor Ivic Pasalic, secretary
general of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) party, Ivan Valent,
and the party's spokesman, Drago Krpina, also paid their respects.
From diplomatic representatives accredited in Croatia, the first
to pay homage was the Papal Nuncio to Croatia, Msgr. Giulio
Einaudi.
The march-past will last until 21.00 hours.
Susak will be buried at Zagreb's cemetery Mirogoj at noon on
Thursday.
