Four Federation parties give no-confidence vote in executive authority

MOSTAR, Dec 27 (Hina) - The leaders of the four parties making up the parliamentary majority in Bosnia and Herzegovina's Federation entity on Thursday gave a vote of no confidence in the entity's executive authority, government, president and two vice presidents, and asked the support of the international administration in the country for a reshuffle of the entity government.

The Social Democratic Party (SDP), the Alliance for a Better Future, the HDZ BiH and the HDZ 1990 met in Mostar, after which HDZ BiH president Dragan Covic told reporters the four parties were confident of reshuffling the government in January.

The four parties want to oust from government the Party of Democratic Action, the Croatian Party of Rights and the People's Party Work for Betterment.

Covic said the four parties would ask High Representative Valentin Inzko, European Special Representative Peter Sorensen, and US Ambassador Patrick Moon, most likely on January 8-9, for support for the completion of the reshuffle.
