PM Zoran Milanovic accused the HDZ earlier today of continuing to foment tensions and spread fear among the public with its draft resolution on principles of connecting the southern Dubrovnik-Nerevta County with the rest of the country in transport terms.
Karamarako said Milanovic should "start doing his job and leave us to deal with the interests of the Croatian people."
Asked by reporters to comment on polls on his and the popularity of political parties, Karamarko said he did not believe that Milanovic's Social Democratic Party was more popular than the HDZ, adding that the polls were doctored.
"At a time when hundreds of people lose their jobs daily, when such taxes are being imposed and the government's measures are making the bulk of the Croatian population poor, do you really think their popularity is growing?" said Karamarko.
