(Hina) - The defence in an appeal hearing
of former Yugoslav army chief of staff Momcilo Perisic on Tuesday
called for repealing as unfounded a judgement by which the defendant
was sentenced to 27 years' imprisonment for aiding and abetting war
crimes in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia. The prosecution on the
other hand claimed that the sentence was appropriate to the crimes.
