(Hina) - On the second day at the trial of
former Croatian Serb rebel leader Goran Hadzic before the
International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) in
The Hague, the first witness for the prosecution Zlatko Antunovic, who
was 17 years old in 1991, on Wednesday described the beating and
torture he was exposed to while he was detained in a rebel Serb war
prison in Dalj. Dalj and other surrounding eastern Croatian towns and
villages were occupied by the Serb rebels supported by the then
Yugoslav People's Army (JNA) in late 1991.
