ZAGREB, Aug 16
(Hina) - Agriculture Minister Tihomir Jakovina and
representatives of the Croatian Chamber of Agriculture (HPK) on
Thursday agreed a set of measures to mitigate the effects of this
summer's drought, which include the completion of the full payment of
farm subsidies for the 2011 year in the next three weeks, keeping the
same amount of farm grants next year and the exemption of payment of
lease for the state-owned agricultural land.
