Strbac was speaking to the press near Bosanski Petrovac, Bosnia and Herzegovina after a commemoration for Serbs killed while retreating before the Croatian army.
He said Dzakula should not have gone to Knin because Croatian President Ivo Josipovic had announced his arrival as admission on the Serbs' part that Operation Storm had been a just operation.
Strbac said he expected Croatia no longer to celebrate the operation after the Hague war crimes tribunal upheld sentences against Croatian generals Ante Gotovina and Mladen Markac on the existence of a joint criminal enterprise.
Dzakula told Belgrade's Politika newspaper that he could not have turned down Josipovic's invitation, saying Josipovic promoted a completely new policy towards Serbs in Croatia.
