ZAGREB, July 13
(Hina) - The head of the European Union Delegation
in Croatia, Ambassador Paul Vandoren, and the Croatian Minister of
Environmental Protection and Nature, Mihael Zmajlovic, met in Zagreb
on Friday to discuss the implementation of the acquis communautaire in
the area of environment and nature protection, with Vandoren stressing
the importance of full implementation of the Environmental Impact
Assessment Directive and the Habitats Directive for development
projects, the EU Delegation said in a statement.
