(Hina) - The Croatian National Bank (HNB) on Monday
intervened in the foreign exchange market, selling 266.4 million euros
at a mean exchange rate of 7.566548 kuna for one euro, thus drawing
from commercial banks slightly more than two billion kuna in a bid to
cushion the impact of euro appreciation.
