At the consultations the two officials exchanged opinions on the first pre-accession monitoring report and on Croatia's preparations for its future admission to the Schengen border regime as well as on the topical matters from the European Union.
Marusic thanked Dutch officials for the support which the Netherlands had so far offered to Croatia on its road towards the EU, according to the press release.
The process of the ratification of the Croatia-EU accession treaty is under way in the Netherlands.
