ZAGREB, April 3
(Hina) - Vlatko Cvrtila, an advisor on defence
matters to former Croatian President Stjepan Mesic and member of the
commission that opted for Patria's offer as the best one for the
delivery of armoured vehicles to the Croatian army in 2007, told Hina
on Tuesday the tender had been transparent and that the decision to
select Finnish arms manufacturer had been made without any pressure
and following the results of tests and a comparison of offered prices
from other weaponry providers.
