"Croatia and BiH have strong ties. Next year we are entering the European Union and some agreements with BiH will have to be redefined, but we want to help BiH with our experience to join the EU as soon as possible," Maras said, adding that Croatia would convey its experience from the EU accession process to the Bosnian authorities.
Maras and Bevanda met on the fringes of an international economy fair in the southern Bosnian city of Mostar.
Speaking at a news conference, Bevanda said the most important thing for Bosnia was to solve issues regarding the export of its animal and plant products to Croatia once it joined the EU. He added that many issues in Bosnia were being unnecessarily politicised and that this affected the work of the Council of Ministers.
Maras and Bevanda also attended a conference on the development of small and medium enterprises after Croatia's EU accession, organised by the Croatian Entrepreneurship and Crafts Ministry.
