"Croatian-Dutch relations are very good and without outstanding issues, and we expect dialogue to intensify with a view to improving cooperation even more," said Sprem.
"The fact that Croatia received Dutch support on its path to the European Union is of great significance," he said, adding that Dutch support for the ratification of Croatia's Accession Treaty would also be important.
Sprem welcomed the visit of a Dutch parliamentary delegation to Croatia due in June.
"The fight against corruption is giving the first significant results in Croatia," he said, adding that the trials for the biggest cases were still under way.
Ronner-Grubacic congratulated Croatia on the ratification of the Accession Treaty in the Croatian parliament.
The Netherlands has always been strict regarding compliance with the accession criteria, but we tried to balance that with support so that the reforms could be carried through, she said, adding that the Netherlands would retain the same approach.
She said the ratification of the Accession Treaty in the Netherlands had begun but that the procedure was long.
The Dutch parliament will closely follow the reports on the monitoring of Croatia's compliance with commitments to be submitted in May and in the autumn, she said, adding that the June visit of a delegation of the Dutch lower house European affairs committee would be informative and mutually useful.
