ZAGREB, March 16
(Hina) - Vinko Martinovic aka Stela, who was
released from an Italian prison in January after serving two-thirds of
an 18-year prison sentence handed down by the Hague war crimes
tribunal, and who was arrested at a Croatian-Bosnian border crossing
on Thursday on a warrant issued by the Zagreb County Court in 2008,
was placed in month-long custody on the suspicion that he attempted to
kill Zdravko Culjak in Mostar in 1996.
