(Hina) - There were 257 million women and
245 million men in the European Union in 2011, which means that the
ratio was 105 women to 100 men, while this ratio in Croatia was 107 to
100, according to figures released by Eurostat, the European Union's
statistical bureau, ahead of International Women's Day, observed on 8
March.
