ZAGREB, Feb 16
(Hina) - The trade unions supported the government's
macroeconomic goals at Wednesday's meeting of the Economic and Social
Council (GSV), but they did not support the budget proposal, as
indicated by media reports, nor did they endorse planned layoffs in
the public sector, the president of the Croatian Association of Trade
Unions, Ozren Matijasevic, told Hina on Thursday.
