BELGRADE, Feb 13
(Hina) - The death toll of snowfall and days-long
subzero temperatures in Serbia has risen to 20 so far, and the local
media reported on Monday that emergency services had managed to rescue
at least 240 people from the hardest-hit areas over the weekend, with
a rescue operation still under way to save a person trapped in an
avalanche.
