ZAGREB, Jan 21
(Hina) - The Croatian Trade Union Association (HUS)
issued a statement on Saturday strongly opposing the increase of Value
Added Tax (VAT) without discussing it first with social partners,
calling on the government to, if it decides to increase VAT, apply a
special regime on food products, child supplies and other products of
social importance.
