ZAGREB, Dec 30 (Hina) - "The British will not give up a
comprehensive investigation of the village of Krizancevo near Vitez
where, according to the statements of the villagers who fled, the
Muslim army massacred the Croatian Civilian population," British
UNPROFOR Chief Command in Divulje near Split spokesperson Fred
Perry told Hina today. He also said that 3rd Corps of the Muslim
army still has not confirmed to undisturbedly complete their job
and establish the truth on the events in Krizancevo 8 days ago.
"The members of the British UNPROFOR battalion entered the village
of Krizancevo in two warrior armored vehicles, but they could not
carry out the investigation because they were forced to withdraw
due to heavy fire from the Muslim positions." "But," he added,
"they managed to see only some 10 to 15 dead HVO soldiers, whom
they evaluated to have been killed in combat. The British UNPROFOR
troops were not able to establish more that nor were they able to
enter deeper into the village into the houses. They intend to do so
as soon as the Muslim forces grant them security."
Perry also said that "the British have no data nor any other proof
or conjecture on what happened to 50 disappeared Croat villagers of
Krizancevo who were taken prisoner by the Muslims."
