DUBROVNIK, Dec 4 (Hina) - The Mayor of Dubrovnik, Nikola Obuljen,
received today Mr. Thomas Rutkovski, the head of the US charitable
organization "Gospa Missions".
Mr. Rutkovski, who had visited Medjugorje (Herzegovina) more times
as well as Croatia, was especially interested in ways to dispatch
humanitarian help to the displaced persons and refugees, and to
assist in restoration of the Dubrovnik area after suffering huge
material damages in the Serbian-Montenegrin aggression against
Croatia. He also announced that the Dubrovnik branch of the "Gospa
Missions" organization might be soon established.
During his three-day stay in Dubrovnik, Mr. Rutkovski is to visit
the area of Konavle, the Dubrovnik hinterland and the old town of
Dubrovnik in order to see how huge were losses inflicted by the
Serbian-Montenegrin war against Croatia.
He is expected to hold talks with the Dubrovnik Bishop, Msgr.
