ZAGREB, Nov 26 (Hina) - According to the data issued by the Croatian
Govt. Office for Displaced Persons and Refugees, there are currently
530,350 displaced persons and refugees in Croatia. The third countries
are caring for 59,949 persons from Croatia and 436,565 refugees from B-
H.
Between Oct 1 to Nov 24 333 persons have been evicted from their homes
in the UN Protected Areas in the occupied parts of Croatia, while 4,161
Croats fled from central Bosnia to Croatia, and 3,771 Muslims and Croats
arrived to Croatia from western Bosnia.
Displaced persons and refugees make up today 11 percent of the total
population of the Republic of Croatia. The monthly needs of this Office
are about 12,000 tons of humanitarian aid supplies, and only about 6,900
tons arrive to Croatia. The Office keeps calling on home and world
public to urgently help providing care for the new refugees.
