ALL-DAY ATTACKS IN ZADAR AND BIOGRAD AREA

ZADAR, Nov 24 (Hina) - Almost all day today Serbian terrorists launched mortar attacks at the Croatian Army positions and civilian structures in the Zadar and Biograd surroundings. According to the afternoon's report by the local Croatian Army sources, the enemy started mortar attacks at the Croatian Army positions in Kasic early in the morning. The attacks extended to civilian structures and the villages in the Zadar hinterland (Policnik, Suhovare and Islam Grcki) around noon. Some time later, anti-aircraft machinegun fire was directed at the Biograd hinterland and fired several tank projectiles at the Croatian Army positions on Mount Velebit. At about 15:00 a half-hour canon attack was launched at Posedarje near Zadar, which was followed by another attack at Pakostane near Biograd. There are no reports on the casualties yet, but the material damages are great. Croatian army lodge a protest with UNPROFOR, according to this report.
