ZAGREB, Nov 23 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman and his
Romanian counterpart Ion Iliescu exchanged letters on Monday
after President Tudjman had to cancel his visit to Romania owing
to bad weather conditions at Zagreb Airport.
In his letter President Tudjman stressed that he looked forward
to the meeting and proposed that his visit be postponed until
early next year.
President Iliescu said he was confident that political
consultations and cooperation between the two countries would
continue to be intensive and fruitful.
