ZAGREB, Nov 18 (Hina) - The Croatian Government held its session in
Zagreb today at the beginning of which the Prime Minister, Nikica
Valentic recalled the second anniversary of the Vukovar tragedy.
The Government made a decision that the committee on the
restoration of the town of Vukovar be established. It was also
decided that immediately after the liberation of that Croatian town
the Government should hold its session there.
Deputy Prime Minister Borislav Skegro delivered a report on the
implementation of the programme of stabilization, adding that great
demand on the ready cash in the Croatian currency was proof of the
effectiveness of the Government's programme.
Prime Minister Valentic said that the Government would persist in
the implementation of that programme and added that the four
biggest banks would be financially restored.
At today's session the Government accepted the report on the
talks on signing the treaty between Croatia and Romania.
