HABENA: MORE DETAILS ON DEATHS OF TWO FRANCISCANS

MOSTAR, Nov 17 (HABENA/Hina) - The political administration of the defense ministry of the Croatian republic of Herzeg-Bosnia, carrying the HVO information from Kiseljak on the situation in Fojnica, the Franciscan monastery and the circumstances of the murders of the guardian Nikica Milicevic and vicar Leon Miglic, says that the Muslims attacked the monastery at the moment when there were 12 priests and nuns, and 30 civilians. The two above mentioned Franciscans were killed and massacred while 6 priests and 4 nuns still remained in the monastery. The source also says that the reason for that crime by the Muslim army is the Franciscans' refusal to leave the monastery and their knowledge about the suffering of the Croats in Fojnica and the surroundings during the times the Muslim army occupied the area.
