SPLIT, Nov 13 (Hina) - The displaced persons rallied today in Split
protesting against UNPROFOR and European observers, since they had not
enabled the expelled persons to pay visit to the local cemeteries in the
temporarily occupied regions of the municipalities of Knin, Drnis, Sinj as
well in the area of Ravni Kotari (UNPA Sector South and the surrounding
pink zones) on the All Saints' Day.
The expelled parish priest of Kijevo, Friar Luka Delic, said at this
protesting rally: "We are fed up with insincere promises. You are washing
your hands of our destiny... We do not need your humanitarian aid. We need
our homes, our stables and our fields. What we need is peace!"
