OBSTRUCTION OF COURT EJECTMENT IN ZAGREB

ZAGREB, Nov 12 (Hina) - With the aid of the ZAGREB Police, the Court Executive Official ejected Dorde Vjestica from the flat at 30 Brozova street due to his illegal occupation of the flat that had been the property of the former JNA and is presently owned by the Ministry of Defense. This was released today by the head of the Zagreb Police Administration Vladimir Faber. At the same time a new occupant, who has a certificate by the Croatian Defense Ministry on occupying this flat, was allowed to enter the flat. During this event there were 12 persons in flat in addition to Mr.Vjestica. They all left the premises at the Court Official's request, except Aleksandar Milosevic, who was formerly employed with the Croatian TV. According to Faber, Milosevic sat in front of the front door standing in the way of the Court Official and the police to enter the flat, and ignored several warnings as well as the police commander's order. Subsequently, the policemen carried Milosevic from the building. Faber also said that the site of the event was also attended by several persons "representing the Croatian Helsinki Committee", eg. Ivan Zvonimir Cicak and Zarko Puhovski, who attempted to enter the flat but gave up after the police warning. (End) 121537 MET nov 93
