KUPRES, Nov 16 (Hina/HABENA) - Serb artillery-supported infantry
forces tried to advances on the western part of the Kupres front,
southwestern Bosnia, in today's and yesterday's clashes, but they
failed, the Herzeg-Bosnian News Agency reported on Wednesday.
In the clashes three Kupres defenders were wounded, according
to HABENA.
The Serb troops were pushed four kilometres back on the front
in the defenders' counterattacks.
The Serb forces suffered human losses, and among the killed
enemy troops there were identified special paramilitaries from the
occupied areas of Croatia, led by a rebel Serb leader Milan Martic.
This confirmed the suspicion that Croatia's rebel Serbs were
passing the Croatian-Bosnian border to participate in fighting on
Bosnian fronts.
