ORASJE-SAMAC AREA HIT BY DOZENS OF SERB SHELLS

ORASJE, Nov 6 (Hina) - The Serb aggressors from the occupied villages of Jenjic, Lepnica and Loncari, launched an artillery attack on the Orasje-Samac battlefront, north Bosnia, at 16:50 hrs Saturday. The village of Vidovice was pounded with about thirty 82mm and 120mm mortar rounds during the assault, local Croatian Defence Council (HVO) sources said this morning. The Serb forces continued with artillery attacks last night when they fired tank shells at Vidovice and the Orasje wider area. Several shells again fell on Vidovice. The Serb soldiers, situated in Batkusa and Obudovac, last night fired several howitzer shells at the civilian targets in the Orasje-Samac area. No casualties were reported, but huge material damage was caused, according to the same sources. Two Serb transporting helicopters were spotted at 18:20 and 19:20 hrs last night flying from Brcko to Loncari. The intensified traffic of Serb military vehicles was noticed at the same time passing through a strategic Posavina "corridor" from Brcko to Bosanski Samac. (hina) mms 061152 MET nov 94
