RECONSTRUCTION MINISTER MEETS WITH CROATIAN-SWISS BUSINESSMEN

ZUERICH, Nov 5 (Hina) - Croatian Reconstruction and Development Minister, Jure Radic, yesterday met with Swiss businessmen of Croatian origin, Swiss-based representatives of Croatian firms and Croatian World Congress officials. Radic spoke of what he proposed to do as the head of the newly-established reconstruction and development ministry. He also outlined the Government projects for the development of infrastructure, which include the construction of 600 km of highway. Chairman of the Croatian World Congress investment committee, Zelimir Belamaric, spoke of the activities of his committee - which range from preparations for setting up a join Croatian-Swiss Chamber of Commerce and to organising for Croatian exhibitors to appear at the largest Swill trade fair "MUHA" next spring in Basel. Croatian embassy official, Vlatko Duvnjak, spoke of a recent decision of the Swiss government to reactivate loan and export arrangements with Croatia. (hina) as 051134 MET nov 94
