MOSTAR, Oct 14 (Hina/Habena) - Tombstones in a Roman Catholic
cemetery in Kasna Luka village were destroyed earlier this month,
Bosnian Croat military authorities said today in a statement.
Kasna Luka is halfway between Doljani and Jablanica, about 60
km south of Sarajevo. It had a majority Croat population before
hostilities between the Croats and Moslems and is now controlled by
the Bosnian Moslem-led government army.
The statement said the 'barbaric cemetry act' was not the
first incident of this kind in Jablanica.
After the Croat Defence Council (HVO) and the Bosnian army
signed a ceasefire agreement Moslems burnt all Croat houses in the
Slatina, Stupari and Mirke villages.
And following various types of pressure including forced
evictions from apartments there were only 120 Croats in Jablanica,
the statement said.
