SERBS INTENSIFY THEIR ATTACK ON THE BRCKO AREA

ZOVIK, Sep 15,(Hina)- Serbs have intensified their attacks on the Brcko area, north-eastern Bosnia, in the last 24 hours, the local Croatian Defense Council said today. Mortars, shoulder launchers and anti-aircraft cannons were used to attack the central part of the battlefield, while heavy artillery was used to attack Boderiste on the east side of defence positions. The same source said that the Serbian army occasionally opened howitzer fire at civilian targets in the free Brcko area. The regrouping of Serb forces was also observed in the area.
